LaFlor Clean Water Project

The 55 families of the isolated mountain top community of LaFlor (“the flower”) in the Department of Matagalpa have organized to change the dangerous health risks that come from toxic water. They are working with their partners to add a chlorination system to the water that comes out of the polluted river that is their only water source. $5,000 will change their lives.

Bricks of JustHope

Several JustHope partners are building new, small but safe houses for the homeless and nearly homeless families of Chacraseca and Santa Emilia. The partners provide the funding for the home ($2000 in Chacraseca and $3000 in Santa Emilia) and then work side-by-side with the family who will live there.
Chacraseca Clinic Project

The average income in Chacraseca, Nicaragua is $1 per day per family, and without the small clinic supported by JustHope and its partners and friends, access to affordable health care would be impossible for most of the community.
