Medicos in Solidarity
Medicos in Solidarity is a partnership between the small community clinic in Chacraseca and a non-geographic group of health professionals in the US.
Through the Partnership, doctors and health care professionals from different cities, states, and countries collaborate to:
· provide financial, material, and consultation support to this small, under-resourced clinic
· create and support training opportunities for medical students from the US
· and explore ways together to better address the health care needs in poor contexts.
Medicos in Solidarity Partners receive updates about the work being done in this clinic, includinrg information about the primary medical problems, and about the needs for supplies and equipment. Those who are willing, may also be consulted occasionally about special cases.
