St. Andrews Lutheran Church/Campus Center (ELCA) Champagne, IL
St Andrews is an Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and also a campus center, which means they worship as part of an inter-generational congregation but one that is rooted in a campus community.
They are part of the Lutheran Student Movement, a "Reconciled in Christ" church, and althought most of the members are affiliated with the University of Illinois, all are welcome. St Andrews first trip to Santa Emilia was in March of 2011, when they focused on getting to know the community, working with women on micro-credit projects, and learning about life as a migrant coffee picker in Nicaragua. They are "exploring" what their continuing partnership with Santa Emilia will mean.
